Cancellations, no-shows and late arrivals, oh my!
A sustainable business is a balancing act. I want to be flexible in scheduling so it's easy for you to get massage. And I want to be sure my schedule is consistent so I earn a reliable living wage.
Lately there has been a dramatic increase in cancellations and reschedules with less than 24 hours notice, resulting in holes in my schedule and not enough time to reach out to clients I have previously turned away due to a full schedule. So, it's time to readjust my policies to ensure I am serving as many clients as my schedule will hold.
Beginning February 1, 2020 I will be enforcing an updated cancellation policy.
Cancellations and Reschedules
If you need to cancel or reschedule, please do so at least 24 hours before the appointment time to avoid a charge of 50% of the scheduled appointment price. As a courtesy, please do notify me by phone, text or email of the cancellation/reschedule request. My automated confirmation system currently does not immediately notify me when you reply with a reschedule request to those texts or emails. New clients will need to provide a credit card on file to hold an appointment time for them.
Should I need to apply the cancellation policy, your card on file will be charged. If a card is not on file, you will be invoiced via email. This amount must be paid prior to your next scheduled appointment.
I will waive the fee in cases of illness or inclement weather.
Should you forget or consciously choose to miss your appointment you will be charged 50% of the scheduled appointment price. Your card on file will be charged. If a card is not on file, you will be invoiced via email. This amount must be paid prior to your next scheduled appointment.
If you arrive late, your session may be shortened. You will be charged the full amount of the scheduled session.
